The Siket was born out of a deep appreciation for the outdoors and a desire to create something that makes yard work easier. The idea began 40 years ago with a physician who loved spending time in nature, often clearing brush and branches to maintain the health, resilience, and beauty of his surroundings.
But time and again, he found himself frustrated by the inefficiency and discomfort of existing tools — switching between clunky, specialized cutters that couldn't adapt from one task to the next and using poorly balanced tools with high levels of vibration transferred to the hand and wrist causing fatigue and strain.
With an eye for design and a problem-solving mindset, he set out to create a tool that would make the work simpler, faster, and more comfortable — without sacrificing performance. The result was the SIKET — a patented cutting tool designed to cut a wide range of vegetation with ease while reducing vibration transfer to the hand and wrist, helping to lower the risk of traumatic arthritis for heavy users.
